1. About Us
These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with NextGEN IT Skills Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. We provide IT and cybersecurity training delivered live online.
By enrolling on a course or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
For questions, please contact us at: info@nextgenitskills.co.uk
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to enrol on any of our courses. By submitting an enrolment, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to verify age and cancel enrolments where this condition is not met.
3. Courses and Course Descriptions
We provide IT and cybersecurity training courses delivered live online by qualified instructors. Course descriptions, including curriculum outlines, delivery schedules, and learning outcomes, are provided for information purposes. We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to course content, delivery dates, or trainers where necessary, and will notify enrolled learners of any material changes.
Our courses provide exam preparation support. We do not guarantee examination pass rates or certification outcomes. Achieving any certification is dependent on the learner's individual performance in examinations administered by the relevant certification body.
4. Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment (or the agreed first instalment where an instalment arrangement has been agreed in writing). We will send you a confirmation email once your place is secured.
Places on each cohort are limited. Submitting an enrolment form does not guarantee a place until payment has been received and confirmation issued.
5. Payment Terms
Full payment upfront: The standard payment arrangement is full payment at the time of enrolment.
Instalment arrangements: For certain longer courses, we may offer an instalment payment option at our discretion. Any instalment arrangement must be agreed in writing before enrolment is confirmed. Where instalments are agreed, failure to meet a payment deadline may result in your place being withdrawn without refund of amounts already paid.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not VAT registered; no VAT is applied to our fees.
6. Deferral
If you are unable to attend your scheduled cohort, you may request a deferral to a later intake, subject to availability.
To defer without charge, you must notify us at least 24 hours before your cohort start time by emailing info@nextgenitskills.co.uk.
Where notice is given with less than 24 hours before the cohort start time, a 20% administration fee will be deducted from the amount carried forward to your new cohort.
Deferrals are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. We will confirm your new cohort date in writing.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
Please read our Refund Policy for full details. A summary is set out below:
- You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the course has not yet started and you have not accessed course materials.
- If you cancel within 24 hours of your class starting, a 20% administration fee will be deducted from any refund.
- No refund will be issued once you have been granted access to course content and have participated in a session.
Refund requests must be submitted by email to info@nextgenitskills.co.uk.
8. Course Delivery
Our courses are delivered live online by qualified instructors. Sessions may also incorporate recorded or supplementary materials as part of a hybrid delivery approach.
We will provide joining instructions and any required access details in advance of your cohort start date. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable internet connection and compatible device to participate.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a cohort in exceptional circumstances. Where we cancel a cohort, we will offer you a place on the next available intake or a full refund.
9. Learner Conduct
All learners are expected to engage respectfully with instructors and other participants. We reserve the right to remove a learner from a course without refund in the event of abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct.
10. Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, and resources provided to learners remain the intellectual property of NextGEN IT Skills Limited or our licensors. You may use these materials for your own personal learning only. You may not copy, share, resell, or distribute course materials without our written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any course or service is limited to the amount you paid for that course. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of earnings or failure to pass any examination.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal data. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use, and store your information.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of our services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
